I feel the same. I didn't go to the one in October but this is only a 4.5 hour drive from Charlotte and would be great to finally see these in person! But I would much rather be going there in my Bronco...

In 2016 when we were there, there was a man and his son who drove their 73' I think it was, from California to Super Celebration, and then on to Georgia to the Atlantic. Dropped his son off so he could hike the Appalachian Trail, picked his wife up at the Atlanta Airport and then him and his wife drove back to California! Quite the excursion!Looks like I am in second place (40 total hours is 1st.) at 28 total hours (Miami,FL -Event round trip). Taking my RV and staying at the KOA which right across the street from event. Bring the e-bikes to get around town.
In addition, this town looks like their was a lot to offer. My wife and I checked out “15 best things to do at Townsend (see link- https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g55383-Activities-Townsend_Tennessee.html ). Tuckaleechee Caverns Looks super cool and is within five miles of event..
