Have you ever used one? They suck crap, gears strip out and they aren't very bright. The LED versions are a bit better. AND you don't want to compromise the structural integrity of the A pillar.

Looks meh. Bad idea.... and I wire cop cars for a living.

You know you can just mount a light by the side mirrors, right? Sure, you can’t move it inside the vehicle, but it won’t damage the vehicle installing it.

Edit: What about a head lamp? Just strap it to your head and stick it out the window. A genius solution, with no drilling required! :ROFLMAO:

lol, I've never used one. I'm trying to find modern equivalents of a pan/tilt light with motors.

If you want a spotlight, get a Go Light. They use a wireless remote control and can be mounted wherever you want.

I want to add this kind of search light to the bronco, something I can control from inside. What are the modern equivalents to this? Something with servo motors maybe?
