these lights worked pretty well for the years i spent driving around in a police car. but i would not get one installed on a car i owned because of the need to drill through the a pillar. they work well and once you are familiar with using them, they are fast and easy to use..

Give me the chrome lights. Will go perfect with my chrome hood ornament.

One difference now is you can have a 10,000 lumen flashlight in the palm of your hand. way brighter and easily focusable, than that one, and you can carry it with you out of your truck. If you want onboard lighting, there are way better modern options available. And they are mounted in a place that provides way better lighting without drilling out your pillar.

Light Cannon, love the name.
It's fitting! Even aimed at the ground looking for my wedding band, it illuminated the whole back alley. Neighbors hated it in winter. Snow reflected the light EVERYWHERE.
It has a 12v automotive/cigarette plug if you dont have a battery with a decent charge.
