My dealer still doesn't admit/acknowledge/know that ordering starts on the 20th, claims not to know anything about allocations and is unaware of the order guide being out.

I can't tell if they are even telling the truth- it's a large dealer and I spoke to the GM and Fleet manager in a conference call Friday after I made a stink about switching Bronco specialists because my first was an idiot. He tried to talk to me about the Sport.

Am I alone in the obliviousness?

Went to my dealer today to check out some colors and just to get out of the house. Was greeted by a salesman and I told him I was just there to check out colors since I have a Bronco reservation (to get him to not try and sell me on anything).

He was completely clueless that ordering window is opening next week. He said it is not known when the ordering will begin. I told him I got an email directly from Ford.

He asked what trim I was reserved. I told him I reserved the Base but will be ordering a Badlands. He said I should call Ford customer service to ensure that I could do that without it affecting my place in line. I told him that Ford has confirmed that it is not an issue. He still insisted that I call...

He also said ordering needs to be done in order of reservation time so that the builds stay in order. I told him that i could order anytime in the window and the dealer just needs to place them in order for Ford. He seemed to disagree.

I told him I am active on the forum and several dealers on the forum have confirmed all this and he just said that the forum has all kinds of misinformation.

Ended the conversation saying that once the ordering window opens whenever that is  that I would be contacted to convert to an order.

Man, that whole experience was painful. All this to save a 1%-2% on sales tax.Not sure it’s worth it. Ugh...

I reserved very late, quite recently. It's a dealership I ordered my F-150 from in 2002. I haven't bothered to call or email them, why bother so soon? You're on the list, you got your number, why jump in the chaos the first couple weeks? My plan is to let them contact me, then ask what is the best price they can give me...and mention I'm going to go with the dealer that gives me the best price. I'm not getting the thing for many months anyway why be impatient? To be the first sucker to convert and pay the highest price with the most order mistakes and option restrictions? Um...no.

They have current monthly goals to be hitting and the full-size bronco being so far out doesn't help them hit bonus/goal this month. They dont have time to be researching on the forums as they need to be making calls, setting up appts, sit downs for this month. If the dealerships didnt restructure the pay plans for the bronco specialists then shame on them. The sales mgrs could give 2 craps right now about vehicles being sold in 6-8 months, doesnt help their commission checks this month. The dealerships that are embracing this release are the ones devoting their time/energy, communicating and will set them apart from their surrounding dealerships once the broncos hit the dealers.
I'm expected to get my stuff done at work but if I expect myself to excel then I need to put in some extra hours.

Done- I have been reassigned to the sales manager/bronco specialist... not a regular salesperson.

Sales manager was pissed off that salesperson couldn't return calls, texts or emails. Didn't sound like the salesperson was getting a gold star this week

No word from my dealer. I've also not received the email from Ford that everyone is posting about on here. I know I'm not getting my Bronco till MY22. Just want some communication for reassurance.

It is unfortunate that so many folks are frustrated with their dealers, it should not be that way. It makes me glad, once again, that I went with my dealership, Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego. They were one of the first, if not the first in California, to commit in writing to the competitive pricing they offer including honoring x-plan even though Ford did not offer it on the Bronco. I do not know anyone who has reserved through KM that is not satisfied with the communication, pricing and enthusiastic commitment they have received. Their Bronco specialist is Eric Bunch and in this atmosphere of so many dissatisified customers, he is a breath of fresh air. Ford, I hope you are listening and reading, you should be proud of the service rendered by KM Ford in San Diego.

which dealer?
Dwayne Lane’s. He did say Mike is the Bronco specialist. He probably should have deferred all the things he didn’t know about the Bronco to Mike, but he chose to go about that conversation in a... let’s say... a different manner.

Ive also been emailing Marv. Marv has not been emailing me (at least not yet). I give about a week before giving up and I emailed on Thursday around noon.

I've been looking in there on a daily basis. No, I'm not obsessed much?
