Hey for all we know some of us OBX sas guys may find out we are facing 6 month delays and end up switching to a BL on 33s. It's funny that we are so in the weeds with comparing all of these details. We still dont even know when we are getting our builds and what we may be forced to change against our will.

Sure. I love my build. And could defend and explain everything I picked, but that doesnt guarantee I am getting what I want.

I don't hate the OB. I mostly question what you are actually getting for an extra $10,500 over a Base.

18" rims, but still has crappy P-rated tires.
Heated Seats (Nice if you live where is snows I guess - call me when I can get butt coolers)
Body colored fenders, door handles, and mirrors.
Mid Package

You get a much better color selection though.

For me, the value for money seems... lacking somehow.

I'd rather buy a Base and upgrade just what I want, or get the Badlands with all the goodies.
It gets you out of the hideous stock steelies, well worth a premium lol.

To your last point, thats exactly where the OBX fell for me. I wanted more than what was on the base, but didn't need all the stuff the Badlands has. What falls in that range, the OBX

Honestly I wish they had just done three (Base, Black Diamond, and Badlands) and simply allowed a bit more flexibility on upgrades and packages. Keep the Wildtrack as a "Special Edition" like a Boss Mustang.
That could have worked, but they smart to follow Jeep and have a trim that's more street oriented, especially for once they eventually hit the lots.

Really, the trim level debate comes down to taste in accoutrements, colors, upholstery, grille, fender color style. Any non Sas Bronco will be as capable as any other non Sas (within tire limitations which are easily resolved), any Sas Bronco is as capable as any other Sas. The exception might be the Badlands non Sas (2 lockers, suspension and SBD) and Badlands Sas (SBD).

There are only three questions with the Bronco:
1. Do you need the disconnect?
2. Do you need High or Lux?
3. Which interior do you like?

Done. Sucks but true. Those three questions will put you in your trim.

I keep seeing posters trashing the outer banks trim. Why? I’m not trying to hide that I’m a poser, it’s going to be a daily driver that I take camping in Florida a few times a year. What am I missing?
It's just like with Jeeps. People don't like anything outside of what they want. It's a big tent and we can all fit in it. (y)

The traffic to get across that bridge is terrible during the summer.

But with the 2.7 and high package why not get the WT?
You know, it’s funny you say that, I was just thinking if that Today. Out of curiosity why do you say that? What do I gain by going to the Wild Trak? The differences in OB, BL, and WT are so subtle, it’s so hard to decide.

I think the prices are pretty identical when sasquatch, auto, 2.7, hard top, and high package is added. I prefer sport mode since I don’t really care for extreme rock crawling, and I prefer the grille on the BL and WT. and then it comes down to the black accents and hood scoop😂. But to be clear I have nothing against the sasquatched obx. The non sas obx is what looks really bad to me

A near black car with unpainted fenders looks like a rental car not a 55k rig. Before you knock me on that comment - AMB / black (colors darker than the flares) look cheapened with unpainted flares. Every other color lighter than the flares good, and appropriate and truck like.
I completely agree with the above. Darker colors with with the lighter gray plastic don't look great. Even Cactus and Area 51 aren't ideal, in my opinion. But the brighter colors (cyber orange, red, blue) really offset all the dull plastic. I can see why someone looking at the darker colors would want the painted OBX flares.

OBX stuck in OBX
Ford Bronco Why all the hate on the OBX? FE5FC9B4-35D9-4016-9E83-AB56AE08AB4B
actually that would be an OBX Sport, not exactly the same animal as a full size OBX regarding capability. Not the best photo but it does not look like they aired down the tires.
