Why are there no cupholders!!? Also, Pics and observations.

If you have the rear seat molle system get these and add as many cup holders as you want. Just strap them into the molle and away you go.

Op thanks for these. Question, in the picture where your wife was adjusting the vents (approx 23rd pic). Did you/she get a feel for whether the color clips might come off easily enough?

Changed mine from Cactus Gray to VB two days ago. Saw both in person and the gray was kind of bland to me.

Cactus and VB were my to options, and I keep going back and forth. I am so far sticking with VB though.

Hello fellow 6gers. I was at the Bronco event at Brandon Ford yesterday and I’m now sharing too many pictures; hopefully it’s
worthwhile for those not able to attend.

Overall impressions: you’re going to love it. I mean seriously; as cool as it looks in pictures, it’s stunning in person. The vehicle will stand out on the trail as well as in the parking lot. I know it’s main competitor is the wrangler, but in my opinion, the Bronco makes it instantly obsolete. It’s like when the iPhone first came out. Jeep has to go for a full redesign, the electric version with the exact same look won’t cut it. The truck is big. Even the 32s on the outer banks required a bit of a hop up to get in. I’m 5’9” for reference. The 12” screen is the way to go if it’s in your budget. It looks really nice. The velocity blue was better in person than I expected, people will really like it. Still sticking with Area 51, but it’s close. Sticking with color, make sure you like the CO, I really disliked it in person. In the sun, it’s school bus yellow, in the shade it’s a bit puke orange. The navy pier leather color is better in person.

Complaints: without a rock rail or tube step, it looks a bit unfinished. Hopefully those pics uploaded. Why won’t Ford put cupholders in anything other than leather? My kids always come with their water bottles, and this is going to be a headache for me.

Let me know if you have any questions or want a picture of a specific thing, my wife and I took a lot.

I'm ordering a Race Red OBX and have 2 choices, Roast or Navy. At this time I have the Roast on my order. I wouldsurely like an educated opinion on how the red, and blue go together before the final order day comes.

I’m going to wind up with Carbonized Gray. I’d prefer race red or velocity blue but got outvoted 1-1 by she who must be happy.

But I got Badlands 2.7 luxe, so it ain’t all bad.

I think people complaining about cupholders aren't understanding ford didn't put them in the doors (like most Ford vehicles do) because they want you to take the doors off. Doors off would mean you can't use those cupholders anyways. I don't get why cars typically have far more cupholders than capacity. Does the average person bring 4 drinks each with them? Now none of this matters to me as I'm going 2 door and will have at most one other person in the vehicle with me and thankfully my dogs don't know how to drink out of a cup so they don't need to use cupholders.

Speaking of cupholders, when my dad bought our ‘76, a console was an option but he declined. So it was just flat floor between the front seats. He later just bought a cooler with four cup holders on the top and used it as a console. Guns, ammo, knives, duct tape, lighters, flashlights inside, drinks on top.

If I were getting the leather, I would have a hard time deciding. The Navy pier looks weird on the build and price and in pictures, but it is really nice and unique in person. The dash is pretty cool too. I’d say the roast is the safer bet, but navy is something different. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed either way.

There are a lot of misconceptions here about my stance on cupholders. I understand this is not a luxury vehicle, nor is it a minivan. I’m not complaining about it’s road noise or mpg. I get what this truck is.

However, I have two young children in car seats that always get thirsty on car rides. If I’m taking them out to the beach with the doors off and the roof off, I want them to have water within their tiny arms reach so I’m not distracted while driving. It just seems like something so simple that would make my life easier that Ford punted on for no reason.
