Some people say it could be since it comes standard Sasquatch it’s because of rock chips on the handles. Having previously owned a Rubicon and having paint chips, I could see that.

The door handles and the mirror caps will be black molded-in-color. Basically the same plastic composite material that are on every trim except Outer Banks. The grill will still be painted shadow black.

In 2021, the mirror caps were painted shadow black to match the grill, and the door handles were body colored.

Edit-- Those who really cared about the painted mirrors & door handles should probably just order a Outer Banks with the Sasquatch package.

I read that the gloss black mirrors were supposed to match the MOD top, which has been delayed until 2023. I guess they figured that if the mirrors were going to be MIC, then handles might be as well. You can buy the unpainted door handles and mirror housing and then have them painted locally if you want that look.

I bought painted mirror caps and door handles from BFN truck shop. Just waiting on my bronco to arrive now lol

Edit-- Those who really cared about the painted mirrors & door handles should probably just order a Outer Banks with the Sasquatch package.

Or just swap them out themselves. I can't imagine it's that complicated.

I like my unpainted door handles and mirror caps on my Badlands. I'd prefer this over painted on the Bronco.

Why? $$$$$$. Every dollar they save goes to the bottom line. Notice the change did not lower the cost to the consumer.
