It was a beautiful 70 degree day today and I wanted to take the doors off and go enjoy it. Taking them off was simple, putting them back on has been a nightmare!
After watching countless YouTube videos and wrestling with it for an hour I finally got the passenger side door on. Then I went to get the drivers side, and it was even more of a pain in the ass! Just when I thought I got it all lined up and ready to put the bolts on the upper door stud came loose and fell out. Upon further inspection it looks like it was just glued in from the factory! So now, I had to JB weld it back on and wait for it to cure so I can hopefully get the door back on before I go into work tomorrow. This whole process just seems insanely over engineered for what should amount to sliding two pins into hinges like it was on my 06 Wrangler.
