I love this rendering in the B&P Tool. But I know that is NOT what Cactus Gray looks like in the real world.

Ugh.

The B&P picture is actually closer to my real world experience with Cactus Grey. It's a relatively flat cement-y grey.

Having seen CG on a BS recently I can agree with @Apples on the color. The updated CV is WSSSY more accurate.

My sarcasm detector is off... you know your “reality” example is in reality famously not the actual cactus gray, right?

Actually we recently found out that that prototype vehicle is not reality...

it looks more like this now supposedly:

Ok. now I feel stupid. So it is closer to that color? Anyone have a pick of the REAL ONE?

Your best bet is to hit a Ford dealership. All the colors available on the Bronco are available on either the F150 or the Ranger.

It's fairly close, actually. A bit lighter is all.

Or the Bronco sport!

It can be a little tricky, but it’s possible to use the Ford.com website to search dealership inventory... that’s how I found local dealers with Cactus Gray and Area51 on the lot already.

Fair warning: CG varies greatly depending on atmospheric conditions and its surroundings. Basically every picture of it here is accurate in one way or another. A quick search hear will provide a ton of user taken pictures.

But nothing beats seeing it in person (since cell phone cameras do a lot of white balance and color correcting at times).

I hadn't realized this. Definitely on my to-do list now.

Don't buy it till you see it in person. My neighbor has a CG Bronco Sport. It's def a pastel/light green in most light. In some light it looks a little blue. It looks much better (and grey) in photos than in person in my opinion.

Yeah, it looks like that Bronco Sport above.

Go find a Ford dealer and have a look for yourself. They're putting them on Bronco Sports and Rangers. The last time I drove by, there were two Cactus Gray Rangers and a CG Bronco Sport on the lot at my local Ford Dealer. It's a good color. My second choice behind A51, which I saw for the first time on a Bronco Sport the other day. It's like a French racing blue. So good.

Here are a couple pics I took. It’s putty gray. It seems to pick up a tiny bit of blue or green based on lighting and what’s around it, but it’s not like that concept.
