Even pre-kids, hated the 2 doors I’ve owned. Daily PITA. More power to those who don’t as I do think it looks better and saves money. The poser takes are lame.

Its not a matter of not figuring out how to do everything or being super easy. It gets old in a hurry having to go though all that to get in and out. First the passengers in the front seat have to exit, then you have to push the seat forward and fold, and its still awkward for rear passengers to climb out. Its not uncommon for 2-door owners to apologize to passengers stuck riding in the back
You realize you're contradicting yourself with this post.

This thread is getting good. :D I’ve had the pleasure of seeing both the two and four door models in person at Supercell East. I’m personally getting a four door due to more cargo space, bigger gas tank, pull out tray when it becomes available, on board door storage, easier for friends to get in and out of the back seats, etc. I do think the two door is badass though and would get it instead if it better suited my needs.

I bought a crew cab truck because I have a family. Turns out the vast majority of my driving is me alone. The times where having 4 doors is convenient just doesn't counteract the constant annoyance of a 157" wheelbase, especially when 90% of the time it's just empty space.

After taking a look at my particular situation I've decided on the two door because simply because I don't need more to move myself around and we already own a vehicle much more adept to passenger travel than either of the Broncos offer. The bulk of the off-roading I plan to do favors a short wheelbase and surrounds my own furnished cabin thus greatly reducing the need for cargo space. Toss on top the fact the 2 door is slightly cheaper, it makes sense for me.
Those 4-dr buyers can try and justify what they are buying is a Bronco, but everyone knows a Bronco has 2-drs. Those of us driving our 2-dr will look at 4-dr buyers with a smirk. We all know the imposter. But we won't shun those who opt for the lifted Flex. They are all part of the family. Every family has that crazy Uncle whom is still loved and welcomed, it is just that no one wants to be seen with him.
Everyone knows that Broncos don't have touchscreens, computers, fuel injection, turbo chargers, computer controlled transfer case, ....... If you think you are buying a "Bronco" just because it has 2-doors -- Think Again...

If it were just me, I’d get the two-door.
But, it’s not just me. I have a wife, and the 3 dogs, one of which is a big, totally blind chocolate Lab.
I’m not going to try to help the big dog into the back seat of a two-door vehicle.
And, if my MIL joins us on a trip, I’m not going to want to listen to my wife as she berates me for making such a stupid, selfish decision.
So, four doors it is.

So that span from 1985 to 2006 where Broncos were in fact fuel injected didn't happen?

Your Bronco, your way....but I’d rather spend 5k on Sasquatch than 2 more doors.

Don't get me wrong sleeping in the back is cool as hell...
Until you've tried it once and get woken up at 6 in the morning to the sun roasting you to a literal sweat. Did that...once. ?

I have a 2 door Mustang because whoever wants to ride with me deals with it. This includes where I want to sit and how I want to drive. With that being said, I need a bigger car to haul, life. The Bronco will be my "truck" and the Mustang will be my fun. 4 door Bronco all the way, and if you don't like it well who cares. Without a 4 door, Ford would not be making a Bronco, so.... you are welcome.

Does it really matter? Buy what you like/fits your needs. No real reason to hate on someone because they choose something different that fits their needs.

The reality of it too is that in 20-30 years if you have an original 4 door Bronco, it may be as valuable as the original 2 door Bronco being that it was the first time it has ever been made and the first year of the Bronco return. To each his own.

Fuel injection wasn't the only thing on the list. Bottom line a new 2-door Bronco has a LOT more in common with other new 4-door Broncos than any "real" Bronco. I get if that old Broncos had 2 doors, but using this to define real and pretend is frankly silly.
