For a DD, the no doors approach works from May to October here in CO. The rest of the year I would not want to freeze my nads off. (y)
The first time the wife and I went to Breckenridge was a late Oct trip around 15 years ago and winter came "early" and dumped close to 40" of snow in just 3 days. Walking around one evening, we saw an older jeep sitting topless with the doors still on in a parking lot. it was completely full of snow, damn near to the top of the windshield. Guessing he didn't go anywhere for a few days after the temps rose!

Off-road or in a low traffic area I'm all in on no doors. Driving around the metro Chicago area? Heck no. I still remember getting T-boned driving my wife to a Dr.'s visit. Watching the car in the southbound lanes suddenly veer into my northbound lanes, glance off the car ahead of me and come right at my door. Last thing I thought was "This is gonna hurt, that thing's gonna come right through". When we came to a stop I was amazed that the door held ('05 Acura RL). Side impact protection, count me a fan.

Exactly! I don't even live in Colorado and only visited once but from that 1 time I know the weather can be very unpredictable. Risky going topless

Whether you have a 2 door or 4 door model if you take the doors off now you have no doors. In my opinion that's the only way to go.
Sounds like the perfect vehicle for a UPS driver.

I expect to see you go out for pineapple pizza runs in sub zero temps and a blinding snow storm with no doors. Then I will agree with your opinion.

This is what I think of with dudes going doorless...Mine will act as a protective boundary to the opportunity for someone to start a conversation at the stop light.
