I didn't read four pages to determine if someone else said that it was because someone else reserved a Bronco, canceled the res, and the dealership kept their place in line and put in their own order. Because it is.

If I owned a dealership, I would have, along with my wife and/or kids as well as several employees reserve the allotted 2 Broncos each and paid the reservation fees. Just say’n

and for the record…I reserved a badlands and first edition under my name, gave the badlands reservation to my brother

either way, I could care less if dealers are getting some allocated and completely understand if they are getting them sooner than reservations. From what I’ve seen, dealers have added a pretty healthy premium to the ones on the lots. i‘ve only been waiting 25 years for the Bronco to come back, so a few more weeks or months of waiting is no big deal.

We asked some details like engine, trim, package, color and so forth - enough info to find out it's probably not for us - not to the point of asking price -

Initially I liked the 2 door more but wife said we go 4 door. After seeing them both in person I like the 4 door more especially with Sasquatch.

You wonder how Ford justifies shipping Hardtop Dealer Stock units for street sale when they have thousands of Reservation Holders waiting for those same "highly constrained" Hardtops ?

They have to do something with all those defective tops. My guess is they are slapping the ones with minor defects on the dealer stock rigs thinking people will be so excited to see one for sale they won't notice.

absolutely, I would expect nothing less. Ford is a publicly traded for profit corporation. It is called capitalism.

I think they are trying to keep a lot of different parties happy (shareholders, dealers, customers). Mission Impossible!
