Why spend the money on R&D when people buy them anyways.
Yep. And people buy Toyotas knowing they will go a couple hundred thousand miles. Both my sons in law have Tacomas with almost 230,000 miles on them.

Not sure if this is the right place to post these links, but here we go:
2021 Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch - Review and Off-Road Test - YouTube
2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road vs. Ford Bronco Badlands - YouTube

A few months ago someone shared a video where they drove a 4Runner into a sand pit and got the truck stuck, up to the axles in sand. They flip on some drive mode, the truck 'dug' it self out of the sand. Does anyone know if the Bronco has something like this.
And one last 4Runner video, kind of:
2021 Ford Ranger Tremor 4x4 Review and Off-Road Test - YouTube

BTW: the guy that does these video brought 4Runner.
