This was my initial thinking. BD, 2.7, auto, mid, plus Sasquatch. But now I'm torn.
That and MIC hard top or dual top and 4dr will be over $50k.

Hence my dilemma with just going with Badlands or Wildtrak instead.

Iā€™m right there with you buddy. I have a BD reserved, but will probably change trims.

I'm doing 2 door anyway but I'm figuring a BD, 2.7, auto, mid, Squatch should be right around the standard BL price. Realistically I'll never use the swaybar disco

Front axle is part of Sasquatch, so Wildtrak=Outer Banks+Sasquatch+Hard Top+2.7+Baja Mode+Graphics+4x4 Auto. But compared to the OP's topic, you're subtracting nothing, and already including 2 presumably pricey addition, the Auto and mid pack. The graphics and Baja mode have some value but essentially "cost" next to nothing to put on the vehicle, so essentially we're talking about adding 2.7+Squatch+Gloss hard top+4Auto being $10k. That seems quite high.
Have you seen what they charge for Raptor stickers? Crazy.

This was my dilemma until today. .. I reserved wildtrak but thought the Badlands may be better IF i could add Sasquatch and hardtop. Based on my survey today (which I went back and forth on multiple time), I am staying wildtrak.
why?
As much as Iā€™d rather a crawl vs Baja, in all practicality I wonā€™t use either often. And perhaps I can crawl in a manual mode with automatic Low 4wd setting. No one speaks to this.

When I added the auto/w. 2.7, Sasquatch, mid package, and hardtop, I am at or above a wildtrak with lux package and tow package. I can accept that and look at bumpers and underside plating later I think for wildtrak. Bang for buck may be at that model.

Either way have to figure on 50-60k... And I am looking forward to it. Now, about which color.......

Shame I canā€™t build my own altogether because is a mix. How about a lux wildtrak but with Marine Vinyl which may reduce cost? Or better yet, Badlands hard top/mid package/Sasquatch at 50k?

Projected pricing is on the site and it is. Not sure what Iā€™m going to do now.
I changed my trim from BD to Wildtrak. A few thousand is worth it for painted black hardtop, high and leather.

I reserved the BD but am considering the Wildtrak. I want the squatch(with V6 manual), steel bumpers, vinyl floors and seats, plus Sport and Baja modes. Not attainable according to current information. ??

But thatā€™s only in 2 door. The 4 door you still have to pay more and I hope ford fixes that. Just a few thousand??? Itā€™s way more. At that price I can get another chevelle project or LS swap in my one of my Chevelleā€™s. I just donā€™t see the price jumps being reasonable. Hardtop price or 2.7 upgrade

I think that depends on what you are going to use it for.

Badlands is more catered to crawling rocks and difficult trails like Rubicon.

Wildtrak is more suited to high speed dessert runs and playing in the sand.

Me in my own head, I would probably find running around the desert and playing in the sand more fun than rock crawling so to me Wildtrak would be worth it. And that is because I am totally new to this kind of vehicle. I think a novice like me would have more fun playing in the sand and dunes then crawling up a trail
Wildtrak already comes with hardtop, 2.7 , 35ā€s etc.
