Just took my first longer trip in my 2024 Wildtrak. What a great vehicle.
I’m used to wide angle blind spot mirrors that were a part of the factory mirrors on my Ford Super Duty trucks; they were great.
Admittedly my Bronco has side sensors that indicate a vehicle in my blind spot, but being a bit old school I would also like to see those vehicles (which might for example be towing a trailer).
Any suggestions for add-ons? I’m not thinking about a separate mirror, but rather a stick on to the existing mirror ‘glass’.
Admittedly such things are easily found at Walmart etc. but maybe some of you have found a particularly good solution.
Thanks

Yup. I'm not satisfied with the blind spot being not eliminated by the factory mirrors. Not keen on any of the insert/stick in options either.

I recommend replace mirrors. The Suma mirrors are awesome. Easy to install they are well worth the money.

Do these reduce or eliminate blind spots?

I like mirrors whose geometry and adjustment permits a continuous view, with partial overlap, from rearview mirror to side mirror to visible with a glance to the side, i.e. blind spot elimination. Factory certainly doesn't do this despite careful mirror alignment.

if Suma mirrors accommodate this light, I'm all over that.

Otherwise, I'll stick with the sensor and the proper mirror adjustment. And frankly, I don't think there's a problem with proper mirror adjustment. Car leaves rear view mirror, appears in side mirror, leaves side mirror, appears in peripheral vision. I don't think I've ever had a problem with that, but I'm always looking for wider vision without compromise.

The factory mirrors (especially the drivers side mirror) are extremely narrow. I would say these eliminate blind spots entirely if you adjust them correctly. They allow you to see several lanes across on the streets/freeway, and they retain your BLIS sensors/lights as well.

Yes, factory are suited narrow. I'm going to give these a try. Thx.

Plus, as an added bonus, Suma mirrors greatly reduce glare from followers headlights.
