Ford was really smart in having the side hood bulges and false cavity above the engine. There’s so much room left in the engine bay. Did they do this for a warthog v8? Maybe. But it certainly added many inches of visual height over the wrangler.

Without looking up factory specs, does anyone know the tire size on that Rubicon? I saw one yesterday with Black Diamond size KO2s that looked decent. (265/70)

There are a lot of reasons I won't ever buy a Wrangler, but being more compact and looking more retro aren't any of them. Now that I think about it, several of the reasons I won't buy one are the same or similar to the reasons I'll never buy a Harley Davidson. One of the biggest reasons, though, is the absolute shit build quality.

Walked away from buying a J**p 2 years ago, to continue waiting on the Bronco. That decision hasn’t cost me anything yet, so I’ll just keep waiting.

The sliver bronco (badlands?) has the same size tires as the jeep - 33" 285/70/17 KO2s. The AMB sas has the nicer 35" 315, on wheels that are 1" wider than the jeeps (17x8.5 vs 17x7.5) so it makes a big difference.

Obviously I like the Bronco. Still love the Wranglers, always will. They’re iconic and that style is perfect as is.

Sorry but Harleys and Broncos go together like steak and eggs or peanut butter and jelly. They are :cool:American Icons.

Actually had you bought that jeep 2 years ago, probably could sell it today for a profit ;)
