Wildtrak Audio Build JL Audio / Audison / Hertz -------

My Wildtrak is set to Build next week.

So I have been getting together all the Audio stuff. I'm not going crazy just a clean build at a Great price. This is what I have going into the Build.

So all my Stuff is now here at home waiting for the Wildtrak to come home.

Audison AP F8.9 bit 8ch. Amp with DSP
Hertz MPK 163.3 PRO for the front speakers
Hertz MPX 165.3 PRO for Rear pods
Trading our MPK Tweeters and going with Hertz's Mille LEGEND Series ML 280.3 tweeters
Custom tail gate box for sub with amp rack
JL TW3 Sub for the tailgate box
JL Audio vxi 1000/1 for the Sub Amp
SSV Works rear Speaker Pods
Alum. Tweeter pods

There is a local guy I know here in So.Cal. That I buy Hertz and Audison from for about 40-50% off retail

My Shelby I put 3 way Hertz legends in the front and 2 way legends in the rear.

Not sure yet on the controller maybe closer to the top by the auxiliary switches.

The tweeters I’m going to use the pods and mount them low on the A pillar near the dash.

Will you be upgrading any of the existing speaker wire? What gauge will you be running on any new wire you're running to and from the amp from mids and highs.

Nice build! But isn't the sub amp overkill for just one TW3?

Yeah, I will not sure which wiring I’ll be using yet on the build.

Yeah, definitely a lot of Amp for one sub. Only reason I’m going with the JJ VXi is. I have one left over from my Shelby audio build. If I didn’t have that amp on hand, I would probably went with something else.

Ahh ok that's what I figured because you don't need that much power or a DSP amp as you already have a DSP. What was the setup in your Shelby?

Yeah, when a little crazy in the Shelby has Hertz legends, three-way in the front running active and Hertz legends two way components in the rear running passive. The crossover is in the amp rack or for the rear passive set up.
