No I totally understand that, my STI has the same thing. I just don't understand why the fold down center section only comes with the leather but not a big deal just find it odd.
My guess has always been that having a fold down opening doesn’t play well with moisture and the washout MGV seats. And then maybe the cloth doesn’t get them because cloth/entry level interior.

seems odd to me too, designing/building two different backs seems strange. But I've seen that with other cars too, leather gets the arm rest, fabric doesn't etc.
Personally I'd think a cup holder in an armrest makes for an uncomfortable arm rest anyway, so don't care, but it's an odd thing.

Everyone who will be in the back seat of their Bronco, and thus miss having a cup holder, please raise your hand....

That was my 2nd guess as well and it makes sense. I don't plan on having many things in my back seats but gear, so not a biggie.

No worries, Ford already thought of the fix for not having cup holders in the backseats of the 4-door models without the leather interior option....

....the fix is to have two periscope looking A/C vents coming up from the floor with no covers on them so when/if someone drops a drink accidently (due to not being able to put it down anywhere)...these ugly-ass vents will act as snorkels and suck the beverage up along with assorted crumbs, goldfish crackers and McDonalds French fries.

It's truly a miracle of modern vehicular engineering and a "High-five" worthy solution to an interior dilemma.

Like everyone else said, performance is the same. You're paying for the option of having more luxuries/different appearance. The grille alone makes it look much more high end.
Ick! No!! Then you have not seen the grilles in person. The shiny black one they are using on FE and WT is stupid looking. It’s like that black lacquer look of a 1980s coffee table. It’s much nicer grey. That one is very sleek looking and matches the fender perfectly. It’s bad enough that if I ordered an FE I’d change to a Badlands or at the very least change it out before I left the dealership. It’s horrible

this is how mercedes added cup holders to the rear of the g class. on the floor behind the center console. the front has a mesh rope bag cup holder for the passenger.

I have to believe someone is making a Molle cup holder attachment for all us non leather interior bronco owners in the near future.
Those exist, sort of, but the only Broncos with MOLLE panels are the Badlands and Black Diamond.

That's how it is on Wranglers without leather and I'm surprised Ford didn't steal that idea

As I read your post, it hit me. So Ford has provided an easy means to add cup holders in the 2 trims where you can spill with no side affects... That that there is some genuine engineering thinkin'

Yep I agree

all these people whining about this model shouldn’t exist or this model doesn’t make sense and they haven’t even driven one yet or most of us haven’t even sat In one...

pound sand and quit whining...
