I'm actually quite excited for the WT. To some people the small things matter most.

I never liked how the wild track was looked at as a higher end model than the badlands. Always confused me

I view the WT and BL both at top trims honestly.

Could be worse, if we were talking Porsche the cupholders would be standard then we'd all be clamoring to pay $2K to delete then for the weight savings.

There are certain options like those in LUX PKG that are available on Wildtrack and not Big Bend.
They sort of force you into Wildtrack if you want those options.
That's why I picked the WT, I don't want the mid package,

Big Bend has no high end options and arguably the least attractive grille.

Badlands would be a better comparison, but ends up being the same price or more as the Wildtrak when configured the same, and isn't available with carpet.

Wildtrak has some other cosmetics that make it more desirable imho...

Isn’t the carpet standard with leather since in the moar door the seats are powered

Totally agree with this. Plus Wildtrak doesn't have the weight restrictions which prevent you from getting certain items from the factory- roof rack, and the slide-out tailgate which is now available in B&P again.

I personally like the Wildtrak interior color. That's why I went with the Wildtrak. I had an Outer Banks and a Wildtrak to almost the same dollar amount and it came down to the interior color. There are some things about the Lux package that I don't care to have but there are some things I do. I do understand what Ford is doing with the options though. If every option, singularly, was available to every trim package there could be a bazillion different configurations which I think would be hard to keep up with. I do wish there were a couple of different options for interior colors for the Wildtrak but there wasn't. I wanted the other options from the Lux package more than the a different option on the interior color. Just my opinion and likes which will be different than a lot of other folks.

Why is that?

I don't know why WT is shown at the top of the ranking. Badlands has a swaybar disconnect, a tool most useful for off-roading. I guess it's like the wrangler where the Rubicon isn't the highest priced but everyone knows it's the right one to get. Ford should just combine the wildtrack and Badlands into one model.

I have the WT 2-door in my garage and I can tell you they are not small things. In fact, I've caught my cousin (owns a BL 4-door) in my garage trying to take my grill off.... LOL

The appearance looks like a First edition with the gloss. The interior accents are blue (love) and it looks so good with cyber orange. I personally wouldn't like the non gloss grill on my rig at all. To each his own

Not true IMHO. I hammered both of them at Bronco Rodeo and the WT didn't skip a beat on any of the terrain. I never once said, oh my life would be complete with the stay bar disconnect.

WT trim makes zero sense... I don't understand why they didn't give it "something" exclusive to set itself apart from the other trims?

Maybe a different "Baja" style bumper... upgraded fox shocks... etc.

Only thing they gave it exclusively was an ugly brown dash! LOL
