I'll have a set of Sasquatch fenders and wheels for sale asap.
What will the going rate for wheels, tires and flares be? If the market will be flooded and good deals are to be had I may just go this route to get mine.

What I would like to do is sell the 5 wheels for (guessing) 8-900 and swap the wide Sasquatch flares for the non-squatch version. I really don't like how inset they look.

I am likely to be more high speed baja style mobility, and I don't plan to rock crawl, but I like the bash plates, steel bumpers, and 33 inch AT tires over the 35 muds of the Wildlands model. For that reason, I went Badlands, and I plan to go sans-squatch, but still add the 2.7L V6. Bummer I'll lose the manual transmission, I've almost always had manual in my vehicles, but I think the higher power V6 will be worth it to me. The GOAT between Badlands and Wildtrack is identical, so with the 2.7L V6 I presume the two will be the same in terms of off-road speed capability. The wider stance on the Wildtrack is, far as I can tell, only because of the wider 35 inch mud tires, which might be useful in sandy environments, but hopefully won't prove a huge hindrance with the 33's on the badlands. The only other thing it seems I lose by not going Wildtrack is the carpeted floors.

At least I hope I'm right.

There is a difference between GOAT modes between the BL and WT... BL has the ROCK CRAWL and WT has a SPORT mode. Think the BAJA mode, but 2WD. You’d probably get more use out of that mode for most driving.

Hardtop is std on Wildtrack. Front Stabalizer disconnect standard on Badlands.

Its silly how many times I have changed my mind on what it is I want. I am far from knowledgeable when it comes to gear ratios and off road equipment. Can anyone with more experience elaborate how changing a Wildtrak standard 35' M/T tire to a 33' A/T would effect driving etc...How about opinions on the the cosmetic side with switching out to a smaller tire? Would it look off? As I have seen the Wildtrak stance is 3 inches wider from spacers? Would the spaces be removable to add the smaller tires.

A few points id like to make. I read somewhere that Fords auto Trans can be off when its not in conjunction with the the sport mode the Wildtrak is providing. I do live in an area that is country every direction, but Im not far from mountains either, midwest...I think I would enjoy sport mode more so then crawl mode in the GOAT options. I just cant see my self wanting to damage my 60,000$ vehicle climbing rocks. I do prefer the grill on the Badlands but that is just cosmetic fluff. Im trying to decide on what will work best for me utility wise. My first instanct when I pulled up the site was to go for Badlands but I have since changed my mind a bunch of times. I want the Mid Package which is another 3k, I want body colored top which will prob be 2k and I want the Auto Trans. The V6 would be nice but I am not going to tow anything and being that I only am interested in the 2Dr Im not sure if its a necessity.

I will use it as a work vehicle but I dont travel far to work, 3 miles...with no traffic to speak of so getting larger tires wouldnt effect that side of things. I cant decide on which one to reserve. I know many people have mentioned reservations can be changed as well, but Id rather get it right the first time. As for the color, I was set on Area51m but after seeing some pics of the Sport with it, I am not at all interested in getting a blue colored car. I do like matt colors, I guess my next pick would be Cactus gray, I do love green, wish there was a nice dark forest green, really dark but I do like the lighters colors as well. Race Red might not be bad either, I was looking at a JL 2019 rubicon 2Dr with the bright red their offering and it was beautiful.

I want to see the Wildtrak next to the Badlands side by side in good light to see how much of a difference the Squatch makes.

Also, does anyone know if the 2Dr, we will be able to store the doors in the back? In one of the videos posted, it was mentioned there was no way doors were going to fit in the back. Ill post video.

Step 1: Refer to FoMoCo website and throughly review each model
Step2: Try to determine your budget
Step3: Decide 2 door or 4 door
Step 4: Determine engine

all else you can determine after these steps. It'll be good.

Guess I'll just leave it in Baja mode most of the time. I like having the swaybar disconnect and other things exclusive to the Badlands. I'm going to get both soft and hard top options, so... Now... I just have to figure out how to come up with 50% down before the dealership wants to talk money... XD.

Probably been addressed at some point — Have we seen multiple pieces of evidence pointing to the wildtrak NOT having the same body colored hardtop available?

According to Ford website it said in multiple places about coming with Shadow Black modular hardtop and shows no option for body color hardtop.

What is you got a WildTrak and added the Steel Bumpers would that be the way to go?

What would be the benefit of stay with the badlands at that point?
and
What would be the upside/benefit of going wildtrak at this point?

With Wildtrak you wouldn't be able to get the sway bar disconnect or the marine grade vinyl seats with the wash out floors and drain plugs, you have sport mode (better for street driving) but not crawl mode (better for rock crawling), that's pretty much it. I have a Wildtrak reserved and I'm good with everything it comes with (I'd add steel bumper, rock sliders etc... ) I don't really care about the vinyl interior but damn... not being able to get the sway bar disconnect makes it a tough choice! To me the sway bar disconnect is the number one thing Badlands has over Wildtrak... well that and crawl mode. One thing Wildtrak has going for it is Sport Mode. Can't get that with Badlands...

The email we received from Ford said you would be able to change all aspects of your reservation except choosing First Edition. Therefore, you only need one reservation.
