Most suspension manufacturers will cover the repair cost of a factory component if the warranty claim is denied because of their product.

From Rough Country’s website:
Rough Country's Warranty Guard has you covered - even when your manufacturer doesn't. This free protection supplements your manufacturer's warranty, guaranteeing that if you are denied repair due to having a Warranty Guard protected product on your vehicle, then Rough Country will foot the bill for your repair!
Other manufacturers have similar programs, so check before you buy. Some also require you to register beforehand to be eligible.

Yes, I know. The 30" base tires have to go anyway, regardless of warranty.

I have considered the same route OP. Just waiting it out and absorbing as much info from posters on the matter before committing to the lift/tire swap.
The hesitation comes from the warrantee concern when upsizing my 16" to 17" with the rear end gearing and how would Ford perceive that adjustment.
Like I said, just pulling in some intel before pulling the trigger.

The is the paid extended warranty, not the basic warranty.

Good point. But again I'm willing to bet it's pretty much the same language [copy/paste] in both.
It also says repairs caused by. At the end of the day, the dealer has to prove that what you modified caused the part failure.

Also just so everyone knows, a dealership cannot void your warranty. That’s something that only Ford can do. A dealer can refuse to warranty a part though if they believe the damage was caused by an aftermarket modification, which then you would have to get Ford involved.

Ford stamped "Lift me, Baby" on the truck, so I would argue it was their idea.
