I thought I read somewhere that the Bronco will not get all the 360 features you can get on other vehicles like the Escape and Explorer. I think the Bronco is planned to get a watered-down version, but does anyone know why? My Wrangler is all over the highway, and I am pretty sure the Bronco will share the brick-like aerodynamics.

I am guessing the system was never designed and validated for vehicles with 35" tires so they need to do the validation work and maybe updates to the system before they roll it out. It is clear to me they are still finishing the R&D and so if they can ship it without the feature that reduces their costs and risk.

The Bronco with the IFS should solve the Wranglers tracking issues as that is cause by the solid front axel and steering box combo.

Lux package has evasive steering assist, don't see anything on the lesser packages or standard.

Hopefully both the aerodynamic design and IFS lead to better lane keeping. Between the wander and bump steer I couldn’t drive a Jeep in MI for more than an hour without wanting a break.

I'm still confused on this. What is different about the standard package Pilot360 and the Mid Package Pilot360?

I sure hope not. I bought a new car with all the “safety” features a year ago and they have almost caused over a dozen accidents. I actually pay attention when I drive and want my car to do what I tell it and not what it thinks is best.

Then turn them off or don't buy any of the packages ?‍♂

Only the lane-keeping isn't in the mid package. And I've yet to fully understand how that differs from the other stuff.

Mid gets everything but Adaptive Cruise, forward sensing, and steering assist.
You need lux to get those features.
Things like Park assist are not in the Bronco

That would be a great solution if it was a one time thing. I did not have a choice as the features were standard.

Brick shape is not a hindrance to tracking straight. Once properly setup, all my brick shaped blazers have tracked as well and any other vehicle. Jeeps don't track well due to steering/suspension issues, not body shape.
