If I had the choice to switch to a soft top w/my 2DR - I would. Hell I'll take delivery w/out a top if I could get it earlier lol

Man, it'll probably make more sense to order a new 23/24 Bronco, wait for production, then trade in your 21/22 than buy a hard top separately from FordThe problem I have is the mic $695 over the soft top. If I switch the Mic will be close to $3000 with shipping and can’t get it for 2 years. The is no best or even which choice to make.
Why would you lose the door bags by switching to a soft top?I will be changing with the mod top pushed out to MY23.
I have a question that may have been covered.
Switching means loosing the door bags.
Will they be included with the purchase of a hard top?
The door bags do not come with hard tops….they are additional $ either way.I will be changing with the mod top pushed out to MY23.

I have confused the door bags with the bags for the top. Sorry for the confusionWhy would you lose the door bags by switching to a soft top?
Same boat. I wouldn't even think of it as a compromise. I'd love to be able to get a painted top instead in 2 years.I'd happily compromise on the top, but not on the 2DR
Ever owned an SUV with a vertical back glass… if you want to see what is behind you during a storm or snow you will.A few percent I suspect. Not without some sort of at least estimate of what the hard top would cost later.
Soft top orders were around 10% of all orders.
I really don't understand why people care about the wiring. I've never even had a car with a rear wiper before, and have no intention of ever using it.
I switched last week after my dealer confirmed with their Ford rep that I will NOT be scheduled before that September switch, was told only FE will be scheduled over the next weeks. (and if I do get scheduled I have it in writing and they can deal with installing that stuff for free later on on their own dime).
I wanted dual top because I never had a vehicle like this and wasn't sure what I'd like, keep one, sell the other. One of the main reasons for me to buy this thing is the convertible aspect and dealing with panels and all that stuff isn't all that appealing, especially when out and about. Bring the panels? Drive around in the cold when the fog rolls in? Or mount the softie and open and close when ever I want? That's what I really want.
But ideally I want a hard top in the back, soft top in the front, a large 'sunrinder' soft top for the two front rows, but the convenience of a real hard top in back. Anybody listening out there in aftermarket land?
I love that I can close the softie when ever I want, be it too much heat or parking in the sun for hours or driving along the coast and that damn fog rolling in.
We'll see how I like it....
Might be cheaper considering resale values of the competitor product.Man, it'll probably make more sense to order a new 23/24 Bronco, wait for production, then trade in your 21/22 than buy a hard top separately from Ford
