Body on frame doesn't need anything to tie the strut tops together.would installing an upper strut bar adversely affect offroading capabilities?
Engine protection in a rollover? Why would you install a strut brace?
what he saidBody on frame doesn't need anything to tie the strut tops together.
There’s currently no rear sway bar. So anything added is biggerDo you guys think a bigger rear sway bar will be available? I don't want the bronco to push like a pig if I corner hard!
That's it deal breaker right there ???There’s currently no rear sway bar. So anything added is bigger
Finally got an understandable answer .... THANK YOU @King Luisso instead of being a d!ck, thought i'd answer OP. putting a strut tower bar on a body on frame car/truck would not affect anything as the body does not really affect the rigidity of the frame unlike a unibody car. for stiffening up the front end you'd look at sway bars and shocks to help stiffen things up. with such a large sidewall in the case of the bronco (like said above), getting a lower profile tire. would drastically affect handling.
