Curious to get everyone’s input as this is a key factor for me if I should wait it out to 2022 or switching to soft top to get it now

It wouldn't be exactly "reinventing the wheel" levels of redesign, there's plenty of room on the rear face of the center console and they can move the window switches more toward the center or outside if they wanted. And they could branch the ducting off of the under seat ones if they don't want to deal with two separate head and foot zones for the rear.They aren't reinventing the wheel with MY22s
