I had an 88 for several years. Kept the top off of it all summer most years. Sadly, I parked it one fall and never started it back. Sold it for $800. Still kick myself for that!

First Bronco and first American made car 😳. Didn’t realize that until recently.

Yes. Previous vehicles were:

79 Mustang
71 Olds Cutlass
65 Mustang
65 Mustang
69 F-250
86 F-150
96 Contour
98 Ranger
95 F-250
2001 Mustang
2008 Mustang
2006 Mustang

Now I'm driving the wife's old 2007 Expedition. It's an automatic...

Can't wait for my Bronco to get here so I have a proper vehicle with three pedals again.

Yes. Never considered a Bronco until July 13, 2020. :)

The styling of the two-door is a home run. When I showed it to my wife, we both agreed, "Let's do it." :)

Ooh, you had my dream truck! My want is so strong for a 69 Camper Special F250. I mean, look at the damned thing!

Great looking solid Ford camper special there. With the must have the under bed storage box option that they lifted from the Volkswagen Type 2 trucks... great idea with a low center of gravity.
I worked in Yellowstone National Park when these were new and they were all over the country side!

Thanks ✔🇺🇸

might have answered here before, my first Bronco, my first Ford, my first US made car. Hoping to be impressed, and so far I'm more than excited, think I'm gonna have a ton of fun with this rig. When ever it gets to my driveway.

Mine was a Camper Special with the 360, 4-speed on the floor. My little sister couldn't figure out how to start it because I didn't tell her about the "thingie you pull out to start the old trucks" (i.e. manual choke). Three Gas Tanks. Not nearly as pretty, it was that two tone green and green.

Great truck, but I sold it when I moved to Phoenix in the early 90s because the A/C had failed.

I should add that we did see the 2004 concept and thought it had cool styling cues. Looked a lot like a bank armored car, so I wouldn't have bought one of those as-is.

My Avatar shown should look very familiar to you as it is Mt. Diablo and the lit beacon.....
Have fun with the Ford when you get your hands on the wheel.
Thanks and be well ✔
