The motor come out of a 71 marquis.....don't know....maybe jetting difference. 460s were/are gas hogs from my recollection. Owned a alignment shop at the time and just happened to come across this car and couldn't pass it up.

Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?
No doubt, the 460 is a gas hog, we had a 73 Mercury Marquis wagon when I was a kid, that one got 15 or so and was certainly more aerodynamic than a Bronco, probably taller gears also. Just surprised it was that high. My Bronco had an Edelbrock carb, so the factory jetting was history, but there is a lot of opportunity for improvement there.

Well I'm almost embraced to admit it but If you call it a Bronco I owned a Bronco II what a POS. Since that disaster I've owned 4 Jeep Wranglers and 2 Grand Cherokee's. Today I've got a Vette and a 4Runner.Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?

My first Bronco will be this one - Dad had one in 1973 when I was 10 years old...it was a fun little truck that he traded in 2 years later for a 1975 F250 Hi-Boy....

This will be my second Bronco. When I was a boy we were traveling from Chicago to Orange County CA. On one of the stops they had this new toy Bronco in the box. My mom bought it for me. The photo is of one I saw for sale on eBay.Will this new Ford Bronco be your first Bronco?

I'm buying my 1st bronco for sentimental reasons. My dad had a full size '79 and then an eddie Bauer '86. Both dark green. With any luck, I can complete the green bronco trilogy in early '22. Learned to drive a manual in that 86. If you could drive that without stalling, you could drive anything. Dad would've loved these Gene badboys...

IMO the Bronco II gets a bad rap. Only complaint from me is that the top didn’t come off.
Yes this will be my first Bronco. I will be trading my first ever Ford in on it, my 17 F-150. I know I'll like the 10-speed trans and the 2.7 Ecoboost.
