WHAT IS THE BEST WINCH TO ADD TO A 2022 BADLANDS SASQUATCH WITH MODULAR BUMPER? I SEE WARN M-1821-B FOR $3200 BUT WANTED TO KNOW IF OTHERS HAVE USED CHEAPER OPTIONS THAT ARE JUST AS GOOD

Not many options to add a winch to the modular bumper besides the Ford winch plate or a DIY solution. However, there are plenty of bumper options that can support a winch and can be had for cheaper and that don't block the front camera either.

Also, no need to be yelling so please turn off the caps lock.

Rough Country has a hidden winch mount that works with the mod bumper. RC and JCR both have winch plate mounts that also work with the mod bumper (I'm sure there are others) but depending on your options, you may have to move the camera and ACC.

From there, pick your poison on winches, do you want to pay extra from those 4 little letters (WARN) or not... I went with the Harbor Freight Badland Apex 12000 winch, sucks to buy from China but most everything is made there anyway... It's a solid winch, no issues at all.

So, to answer your question, I've got less than $1000 in my setup (RC hidden winch mount and Badland Apex winch). Is it better than the Ford/Warn setup? Yes, ABSOLUELY, because I was able to spend that extra $2200 on other stuff, like coil overs...

Rough Country High Winch Mount. Itā€™s $209.95 right now.

This is the correct answer, the route i plan to go with. Keep your sensors, doesnt block ACC.

Iā€™ll back the RC bolt on as well, just installed last weekend. Solid product, especially for the price. I also added the Mountains to metals camera relocation bracket.

My control box is relocated under the hood. Camera good for normal use. Not great for crawling.

Yes, not as much if you relocate the control box. Also, moving the camera is not hard.

i suggest looking/watching this thread on here for this setup. I haven't done mine yet, but this seems to be the best route to go. I have been looking at easy solutions for over a year, this seems to be the best way to go to me.

The Mountains to Metal mount is cheaper and has the hose/wire included. Didnā€™t even know it existed. Has a ton of 5-star reviews. Might make that purchase Soon.

Thanks for linking my install post.
