Winch options?

What winch are most of you going with? I’m not going off-roading weekly but also don’t want to buy one that’s crap. I’m new to this world as I have had cars before this. Is this winch any good? https://openroad4wd.com/products/op...inish-winch-waterproof-ip67-panther-series-2s

There's the name brand winches that everyone usually runs (Warn, Smittybuilt, Superwinch, etc.) but most of those are more expensive. For a cheap winch, I would say it's really hard to beat the Harbor Freight Badland Apex winch. It does only come in 12k lbs capacity, at least for the larger winches. But the build quality from what I've seen on it is actually very high.

If you sign up for Harbor Freight's email list you can get really good coupons that cover anything in the store, I was able to my my winch for around $450

I have a DV8 front bumper that will hold a 12,000 lb winch so that could work

I haven't ever heard of open road winches so I'm not familiar with what they're like.

Smittybilt X20 Waterproof 10,000 lb w/Synthetic Rope and Wireless Remote.

I relocated the control box, removed the decals and blacked out the silver. I prefer the clean look.
