Just a FYI for those that are scheduled and have not received a window sticker. It seems that all window stickers being made post 3/7/22 will show MY22.5 pricing regardless of when you reservation or order date was made.

Sucks for my over taxed state.
Yup! I was curious about that though. Would you be taxed on the full msrp or the msrp with price protection

Just got a bronco yesterday , was not charged 22.5 price and window sticker was listed at previous pricing...

Yes that makes sense. Your window sticker was created before 3/7

So price protection works like a rebate: You get charged the new higher MSRP, pay taxes on that new higher amount, then the rebate is applied at the end as a credit. That is how most states handle rebates/credit to my understanding.

That’s what I figured. Hoping it might work as a trade in instead. Haha. But you are probably right

Excise tax here is based upon the actual window sticker for new registrations. And it's every year.
