That would be great. You know you aren't required to argue with everyone on every thread, right?

To me the set up makes perfect sense, front left switch controls front left window. I've never in my memory accidentally rolled the rear window down meaning to get a front. But after 3 years it just feels second nature. The only issue i have is when I drive my other vehicles reaching for the console. But the same issue when I switch between my column shifter and console.

I've put a decent amount of ass time in the seat of the Bronco and I have to say, I am still lowering the rear window most of the time before I realize I have my finger on the wrong button, and have to raise up the rear window and then lower the driver window - and yes I go through Dunkin Drive Through way too much.
And yes 2 door crowd, I know what you are going to say. 😒😁

So I'm wondering, has anyone flipped the switches to put the front windows on top and the back windows on the bottom?

And am I the only one who's brain refuses to get on bord with the switch positioning? o_O
Still looking for the high beam button on the floor….😬

but don't you generally PULL a parking brake handle to engage it? Likewise then, PUSHING the handle disengages it.

That's how my GTI does it. Pull it up to engage, click the button and "push" it (back down) to disengage. And come to think of it, I had a '72 Corona with a T-shaped parking brake handle under the dash; pull it (out) to engage, turn and push it (back in) to disengage.

But then there's the foot brakes; push with your foot to engage, pull the handle to disengage it.

I was initially hesitant about the foot-operated parking brakes where you push to engage, then push AGAIN to disengage. Now THAT makes no sense. But it didn't actually confuse me in daily operation...
I'm wondering why you guys even need to manually disengage the parking brake. Just pop it into gear and the brake automatically disengages... like most (all?) modern vehicles with electric parking brakes.

The location, on the other hand, is a bit of retro-weirdness that I could have done without. That switch belongs on the center console.

. First two should be driver and passenger and the next least used, should be below that. Lol
It’s just my dumb ADHA I guess. lol. 🤪
My ADHA would be the opposite. If I looked down and the front window switches were toward the rear it would drive me crazy, lol.
The parking brake switch is a real gripe. I agree it should be on the console. They did it correct in that it disengages when you start to drive but why not auto engage when you put it in park like my wife's Mazda CX-50 ?

I'm 3 months in to my new 2 door rig and still can't get used to the 2 switches I have now being on the center. I have never owned a vehicle with center mounted switches and it's really messing me up!!! I would be well and truly screwed with 4 of the bastards in the center!!! Lol!!! And I agree the parking Brake should be on the console too.

Put a dab of nail polish on one pair of switches to create a tactile input differential.

I suppose Ford's reasoning was to make the wiring simpler for removable doors. One less thing that could F'up.

I’m fine with the 4 door window switch positions, the forward buttons do the forward windows. But I’m so use to the exact position, that I noticed in my 2 door that the window switches are in the place where the rear windows are in the four door.

I can’t be the first to notice this. But I ain’t searching forum either. And I can’t prevent my wife from rolling the window down cause there’s no window lock button in the two door. You gotta control them or they’ll control you. And don’t get me started on my Ranger, the window buttons aren’t even in the middle. It takes me a minute to find them.

ahahahaha
No crowd whines more that 2 door Bronco owners, especially when someone makes products for 4 doors and not the 2 door Broncos o_O 😁🤣😂;)

With that said, I wish I owned both but that's not reality for me.
We have had our 4dr for a year and the only time I have miss used the switch is after driving the 2dr.

ummm...the front switches don't operate the front windows on your other vehicles?
Somehow this got into the wrong thread.

Window switches are fine. Pinch sensor is too sensitive, and I can't roll up the windows when driving on my dirt road, but the switches are fine.

This should have been in the thread about the ass-backwards parking brake.

This problem was so easily preventable by just ordering a proper real Bronco. 😁
Hey, some of us could splurge for the extra doors =P
