Hey folks,

Just curious if anyone else is running into an issue with the windshield wipers? It seems to be "stuttering" across the windshield (can't think of a better term, sorry) where it bounces across the windshield. Even with heavy rain on a low speed setting.

Anyone else run into this? Any resolution? I imagine it's something to do with the pressure of the wiper blades to the windshield.

Thanks!

Clean the windshield and then clean the wipers .... I'm sure there is something is on them. (don't just use washer fluid) good glass cleaner and a alcohol based cleaner and wipe the wipers down.

Someone else had a problem with them slowing down. Have you checked your electrical connections? That’s been the cause of several issues (Loose connection).

thanks. I will give that a try. I’m not aware of anything on my windshield though as it has about 1000 km on the vehicle but you never know.

They aren’t slowing down. They just skip across the windshield. Hard to describe but I’m sure you’ve had it happen before at some point in a vehicle.

Did you get maple syrup all over it again?
I probably I don’t have enough maple syrup on my windshield. Thanks for the helpful tip as always.

Bad blades is my only other guess. Dirt Mountain Bronco by any chance?

Unfortuntely that didn’t help. I even used the same glass cleaner he had in the video.

Its first wipe is fine, but as it comes back it staggers. Annoying AF. With this heavy rain it shouldn’t do that.
