Have you had any chance to drive your stock Territory MT tires in Alaska winter conditions? Are they at all decent as a snow tire? If not, I was thinking of getting another set of rims and mounting the Nokian Hakkapelitta LT3 nonstudded winter in the stock 315/70/17 size tire to swap seasonally:

I am in the Pacific NW so we don't usually see the type of winter conditions you do. Thanks for your feedback!

I ran the Goodyears last winter and plan to again this year. They're actually a pretty good snow tire.

Well its that time of year again in Alaska. We had snow last week, so time to start swapping snow tires on to all my vehicles.

I have Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT2 315/70R17 studded snow tires. I bought 5 Motegi Trailite 17x8.5" Bronze wheels.

I also swapped my factory black Sasquatch fender flares back on for winter also. I like having two totally different looks for summer/winter.

It was just a saying, since the snow tires went on. There is no additional goat mode. Slippery mode does work well though.

No offense meant, but you may be colorblind.. 😂
One set is bronze, the other is aluminum.
I take it you didn't notice the different colored fender flares? You may be correct and are colorblind. :D

Each side of your car resides in a different climate? 😂

I had a taxi take from hotel to Murphy Dome in 2018, and this guy was driving his minvan 60 mph down the windy mountain road and I nearly had a personal accident at least 8 times. I asked him to slow down and he said he has studded tires so it's fine. Also drove by a moose and all I saw were 4 furry sticks.

I am planning on driving from Los Angeles to Banff and back this winter, and should I be considering getting studded tires for this trip?
