That doesn't help. I had that on my windshield since the first day I took my Bronco home.

No? Bummer...
Perhaps something to do with the more vertical angle of the windshield?
I can run my GTI through a downpour and not even use the wipers.
I have not even driven the Bronco in rain yet!

Had my 2023 badlands for a couple weeks and driving today in the snow and freezing rain and wipers did the same thing, have to keep messing with the switch to get them to keep from slowing down.

I just picked up my 22 obx which is having the exact same problem. Wipers start to slow down for no reason have to switch from high to low to keep them going ridiculous come on @Ford Motor Company

Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this wiper concern. Thanks!

I took my Bronco the local Ford dealer for service twice this week on this issue. After they couldn't reproduce it the first time, they asked me to return when it was raining. They claim they are unable to reproduce the issue. The problem happened once while I was standing with the service manager, but the Bronco was inside their bay, so the service manager claimed it was the intended wiper behavior to protect the motor or whatever.

The weather has been colder today than recently, and I noticed the issue only occurred right after I took the Bronco out of my garage. I am starting to wonder if maybe the issue is temperature dependent.

It would be nice if @Ford Motor Company would provide some guidance to the dealers on this issue. As many others have stated, the dealers are telling us the wipers are working as intended, when that is clearly not the case for everyone.

I have seen this happen in all sorts of temperatures so I don't think that is it but who knows. I wish there was a way to get more information about the F-150 wiper motor recall. From what I have been able to find it seems like the same thing.

The F150 doesn’t use the “smart” wiper motors like the bronco. I believe those have a totally different failure.
