With the latest Friday announcement by Ford, most of the production of the so-called 2021 Bronco will actually now be in late Fall/early Winter and this will essentially be a 2022 model.

Given the new timing, and the expected announcement of a Warthog for 2022 production, anyone thinking of waiting? Or does this delay also signal a delay in the Warthog?

On latter Ford in my opinion needs to get something out soon to blunt Jeep’s new Wrangler.

‘Thoughts?

We have no real time frame for the Warthog yet. That being said, if it get announced before we can actually buy the Bronco...

I would wait if I thought the Warthog would be in my price range but I am fully expecting it to be at least $70,000.

Since the Warthog will probably be 2x the price of my 2DR Basemansquatch, no I will not be changing order to Warthog

Not necessarily by as much. Many of the same basic components are used and those are what are holding up the release now. They still are going through engineering and testing now, that is all done without the need for most of the suppliers involvement. While there may be interior differences, they are probably minor and mostly baked in at this point. It's mainly mechanical stuff they need to finalize which would include fewer outside vendors.

They way things are going I'll probably be 6' under by the time the Warthog is released. I'll take my chances waiting for my Bronco.

Well, the Bronco is in a timeline flux. Time will tell; perhaps I will wait if timelines present themselves in a positive manner.

Too many ifs need to happen. If it is available as a2 door. If a manual transmission is available. If it isn't too expensive ($55k or less for 2 door manual) if Sasquatch is available. And if I can wait that long. I'll try. Otherwise, I'm without my own vehicle and sharing my wife's at the moment. Might have to buy a20yr old tacoma for a few hundred bucks to last me until then
