With the F150 "coming out" B4 Bronco, I wonder if any of this is a preview?

I feel like someone mentioned the lay flat seats a few months back in regards to Bronco.

Would be VERY cool if true.

Yeah I dont like seats that dont fold way back. Would be great in the Bronco, top off looking at the stars with my wife.

The FJ Cruiser needed the bottom seat cushions folded forward in order to lay completely flat. They were hinged in an usual way that allowed this. However, if I was sleeping in the back I would just remove the cushions completely which made it even easier. I how they intend on doing it with the Bronco.

Fully reclining passenger seat was a very popular option in the 60's.

ah yes, the lay flat seats of an 80's ford tempo, no power functions, just a tiny plastic leaver on the back of the seat with a spring that wouldnt catch any of the supposed 5 way positions...you go from sitting straight up to laying flat back in one big bang

I'm getting to the point where I see the swivel seats in the old GM cars and think...Yeah. I get it. I need those.

My 84 Bronco II had fully reclining front seats. The driver seat would often suddenly lay flat at the most inopportune times, usually when I was accelerating. Made every drive full of surprises, for sure

I honestly dont like power seats, they are too damn slow. Im sittin there with an aching back waiting on it to slowly move to a position 98% as far as I wanted to go. In older cars it takes no time to get it comfortable. My Maverick seats didnt recline but they were type that just flopped loosely forward, makes quick work of getting in the back of a coupe.

When the Gizmos in the bronco seats stop working I will gladly replace em with an aftermarket older style meant for 1st gens.
