Think I'm going to finally upgrade to one of these dashcam mirrors. Is this a pretty straight forward DIY? I'm no mechanic but have basic mechanical proficiency.

Have any video footage of the quality of the camera feed and recordings?

HAHAHAHAHA Wow. I just purchased the G900 Pro just in November I believe. Now they have this one. LOl!

The product is great, and @FL Trucker, it is easy to install. I went with the Ford OEM bracket and the usb adapter that uses the mirror power to power the dashcam. I ran the rear camera wire to the back, through the side panels that cover the airbags, and put the camera in the cubby section of the rear roll bar.

It is a great product, I love it.

@WolfBox, are you going to offer a way for people who have the 900g PRO a way to adapt to this new version? Thanks in advance.

Update: Just looked at the video, not compatible with my current version. Sad Face.

@WolfBox where do you suggest we mount the rear cam on our Broncos? I have a soft top so I wanted to install my rear cam on the outside of my vehicle. I ended up mounting it on the housing of the third brake light, but I am noticing that when it rains, the rear cam collects water droplets while driving causing the view looking at the mirror to be distorted. I would mount it within the spare wheel; however, I have a tire cover on the spare. What are your suggestions on where to install to avoid susceptibility to water droplets while driving. Thank you!

Is the mirror portion itself also IP67 waterproof?

I just bought the 900 Pro in December I am using it as a front camera for our trip to Moab in a few weeks. But now that my Backup Camera has been acting up it sure would have been nice to have this option. But the camera is super clear the remote camera is a lower quality than the Mirror mounted Camera but still very good quality. Just be aware when the mirror is off it is not like a true mirror it is more like a cell phone that is turned off it is reflective but it is dark. Not like a nest thermostat that when it is asleep it is a mirror but awake it is a screen.

Would your Wolfbox OEM Bracket for USB C G900Pro work with this mirror? I want to mount this to my BulletPoint system so it can be used more as a display and keep my original rearview mirror.

any concern with these getting easily plucked out of Broncos in the summer when parked with roof off/windows open?

My camera is actually my rearview mirror. My backup cam is inside in the rollover bar cover cubby section. So no worries there. Also for my setup overall, I run an Armadillo top so it does not come off like the MIC top. The panels open, but the rear shell is intact.

Does anybody think this would be worth it on a Bronco Raptor? Already have a front view camera, but adding one down low seems like it would be great for trail riding. Or other thoughts for the third 1080p camera? Gonna get a wolf box rear view system either way. The third camera seems too good to pass up.
