@WolfBox where do you suggest we mount the rear cam on our Broncos? I have a soft top so I wanted to install my rear cam on the outside of my vehicle. I ended up mounting it on the housing of the third brake light, but I am noticing that when it rains, the rear cam collects water droplets while driving causing the view looking at the mirror to be distorted. I would mount it within the spare wheel; however, I have a tire cover on the spare. What are your suggestions on where to install to avoid susceptibility to water droplets while driving. Thank you!
Would love to see install photos. I have a soft top and have the same questions/ concerns. One of the biggest draws of this product for me is to be able to use the rear view mirror with the top down.

I ordered the G900 TriPro on March 3, and I am anxious to receive it at the end of the month.

I’d like anyone’s advice on the location for the front camera on my 2024 Black Diamond with Mid Package, Modular Bumper and OEM Bull Bar. I am considering two locations shown on the photo.

Mounted underneath the bull bar on a light bar mount would give a good view of the ground in front of the bumper. I’m afraid that mounting it recessed into the grill between the O and the N (like the OEM camera that I don’t have) would show the bar in the video frame.

The second option is underneath the center opening on the bumper mounted on an unusual bracket that I found on Amazon. As you can see the bracket clamps securely to the bumper steel in front of the plastic box. Since I do not have Adaptive Cruise Control I don’t think this location will block any sensors.

I’m leaning towards the lower location as it will give an interesting perspective for video and will show more of the ground than the upper mount. The camera may get dunked when fording streams but I hope that will not damage the camera.

What are others thinking about the front camera location for the G900 Tri Pro? What do think of my idea?

Here is the link to the lower bracket if anyone is interested:

Does anybody think this would be worth it on a Bronco Raptor? Already have a front view camera, but adding one down low seems like it would be great for trail riding. Or other thoughts for the third 1080p camera? Gonna get a wolf box rear view system either way. The third camera seems too good to pass up.
Same question - anyone install this on a Raptor? I'm considering it now.

Think I'm going to finally upgrade to one of these dashcam mirrors. Is this a pretty straight forward DIY? I'm no mechanic but have basic mechanical proficiency.

Have any video footage of the quality of the camera feed and recordings?
Thanks for your interest. Yes, it's an easy project. Please read the manual before install, and make sure you connect the wires right.

We have a clip of the rear cam filmed at night. Please check it in our FB group.

The position you chose is good, you just need to spray some rain-x on the cam to expel the droplets.

Is the mirror portion itself also IP67 waterproof?
The bumper cam and the rear cam are IP67 waterproof, but the connectors are not. So make sure you seal them tightly with some tapes or others.

The G900 Tripro will work fine with those car models. It's not picky
Just find good positions for those cams, and install it correctly after reading the manual.

I worry about the unit that replaces the mirror when I inevitably get caught in the rain with no top.

I originally installed it on the third brake light as shown in the one picture. I used the bracket and screwed it into the back of the third brake light housing. Then I decided yesterday to get a little more fancy. I ordered a water proof junction box, drilled a hole into it for the camera view and one to run the camera wire through. I used heavy duty double sided tape to attach the camera in the box and position it correctly. I than used a metal strip to attach the waterproof box to the brake light. Let me know what you think of the pictures below.

What do you mean by 'roll bar cover cubby'? I can't visualize this.

My camera is actually my rearview mirror. My backup cam is inside in the rollover bar cover cubby section. So no worries there. Also for my setup overall, I run an Armadillo top so it does not come off like the MIC top. The panels open, but the rear shell is intact.

Wow, that is interesting. Thank you for the photos. I wonder if it would be easy to DIY a mount to the actual backup camera.
