Quick review on the new Wolfbox Megaflow24 air compressor. I got this air compressor sent to me from Wolfbox for testing purposes.

This compressor gets the job done for its small size. It’s not going to replace your twin ARB or twin Morrflate compressor anytime soon but for an emergency situation or a quick top off it’s pretty darn good and does it pretty fast. I don’t think they were aiming to take down the larger duty cycle pumps on the market they were looking at a convenient and fast way to fill tires on the go or in a pinch that you can leave in your vehicle all the time.

The carrying case is nice it’s a zippered hard box same style case they use with their jumper box. I do wish it had a zipper on top of the case to hold in the hose and power cable when you go to close it because it tends to pop back out sometimes. It also has some inflate tools like a ball needle. The air hose is very flexible It’s just long enough to reach your valve stem.

The pump has a few settings but it’s all pretty basic. Only thing I changed was made it read psi. You set it at the pressure you want and hit start it runs till it reaches that set pressure. I really liked that it reads the actual tire pressure as it pumps. The first tire I tried was a 37 inch. From 19psi to 36psi it took 9 minutes and about 70% of the battery. I never got around to using the pump with the 12 volt power cord all tests done were off the internal batteries. On a 31” small truck tire it went from 29psi to 36psi in 2 min 20 sec. Then I tried it out on a trailer tire and it was super quick went from 21psi to 36psi in just 2 min 15 sec.

What's the price point? I just bought something similar and my fiance' promptly stole it, so now I need one.

My Ryobi inflator from Home Depot does my stock tires from 25 to 35 lbs in about 4 minutes. Did all four tires easliy on a single battery that I already had. Shows the pressure and stops at the set point. Only $40 so I bought a second one to cut the time in half using a second battery I already have. Also bring along my Ryobi reciprocating saw with a 12” green wood blade to cut trees out of the road. Also in my go bag is a battery charger I can plug into the 110 outlet in case I need to recharge.

More future landfill.
I'm not knocking this brand, I'm knocking all of these type gizmos that are being sold.

Sure, you'll probably get a few uses out of them, but in the long run, they're disposable.
Reminds me of those all in one battery jumper, tire inflator, safety light contraptions, updated and cooler looking.

I look at it this way, you drop 30 to 70 thousand dollars on a vehicle, and when it's time to get another one, you do the same thing, and again and again.
If you can spend that much money on vehicles, you should be able to drop a few hundred on a reliable portable air compressor that will last for many years and multiple vehicles.

These cheaper small little pumps, or the ones that plug into a cigarette lighter, or that are multi-tools, do not last, take forever to fill a tire, and create more frustration than solve problems.

I speak from the experience of, 'it something can go wrong it will', and 'there is no substitute for reliable tools and equipment'

I'm sure others have stories of cheap alternatives working out for them, but I don't, I have stories of being stranded and waiting.

That's my words of advice for today.

Ouch! You people are really strict. This post seems pretty real, OP saying the truth and putting results here after all. 🤔

I’m far from being an influencer and the compressor isn’t junk it does exactly as advertised.
As you said, it isnt meant to replace a longer duty cycle/heavier duty compressor. I could see me reaching for it to top off the wife's tires occasionally instead of poppong the hood, dragging out the compressor bag, attaching to the battery, etc. (the reason I'm looking hard at an onboard ARB). Just throw it in her trunk bag and she can top them off instead of calling me in a panic because her tire sensor is going off (not that I mind at all, that's my job)

Have you tried to see if the USB-C is actually an output (will it charge a device)?
