Wondering.. If you could move the rear seats in 4 door back to create more room.

Just a hypothetical thought. If you could move the mount points of the rear seats further back in the trunk. Would it create more leg room for the rear? I am sure it would throw off all kinds of weight distribution etc.

You can't. The hump is behind the rear seats due to how the frame is designed.

I think it is an interesting idea. Order the rear seat form the two door and then mount it rearward between the wheels.

The seats are mounted lower in the floor pan when compared to the cargo area. No room to move seats forward or back.

Nice, i was looking for pictures from that view. New brackets would be needed but i would imagine you could push it over the lip in the back and move the arms back or to the hump. problem i see would be seat belts.

move the pillars back and build up behind the lip in the back for mounting. Dirty edit but seat would move back a few inches.

I think it could be done, I like the idea of putting the 2 door seats in back, be cool to have a center console as well. I will never be fitting 3 people in the back seat in my 4 door. I much rather have a 4 seat, 4 door bronco. Seat belt system would also have to come from the 2 door.
