Option 1: Ideally I would like to have a base model 2 door Sasquatch with the seven speed manual.

Option 2: If they won’t let me order it that way, then I would probably get the Base Sasquatch V6 with the 10 speed.

Option 3: Or if I’m feeling really cheap, I’ll just buy the base model with zero options and the manual. The only thing Ford is not offering that I would really want in that build is a locking rear axle.

Top 3 Choices

or
Badlands w/ 33" Beadlocks/MT's, 2.7 V6 TT, 10A, MIC Roof and High Package in Carbonized Grey or Shadow Black (the orange stitching just kills the exterior colour choices)

or

The "Open Air" themed Badlands Bronco w/ 4 Tube doors, pod lights, 33" beadlocks/MT's, 2.7 V6 TT, 10A, High Package in Carbonized Grey

I'm torn between a 2dr BL in CO with all bells and whistles, and a somewhat budget BD, which I know will be more than enough for me.

Plan A: 2dr BL in CO w/ Lux package ($53.4k)
  • 2.7 w/ 10-speed auto
  • Optional wheels w/ beauty ring
  • Lux package
  • Sound deadening headliner
  • Tow package
  • Floor liners
Plan B: 2dr BD in CO w/ Mid package ($42.4k)
  • 2.3 w/ 10-speed auto
  • Stock steel wheels
  • Advanced 4x4
  • Medium package
  • 12" display upgrade (?)
  • Sound deadening headliner
  • Tow package
  • Floor liners

Honestly I can't decide on anything! I'm all over the place ... if I look at money then I'm with the BaseSquatch. When not thinking economically then it's Badlands loaded, anywhere in between is frustrating !
I'm with this guy, I literally have at least 2 builds on every trim level from base to wildtrak lol!

Seems steep. Too steep
It's like they made 5k price jumps where they should have done 2k or 3k ....but apparently this is all in line with Wrangler pricing.

Seriously, if it weren't for BaseManSquatch or Base-6-Squatch, I'd probably just buy a 250 .... ON X PLAN!

The same one build from day one with the exception of not taking the modular bumper to hold the price down for the modular roof.
Outer Banks
4 door black
2.7 auto
lux
aux switches
leather with power
modular roof
roof insulation kit

I switch almost daily between BD and BL, both white with 2.7, Auto, roof rails, Mid.
I like the interior and price of the BD better than those of BL.
I like the 33's and overall look of the BL more than BD.
I like the stock wheels of BL more than the stock steelies of BD.
I don't plan any hard core off roading so BL may be overkill, but I don't care.

With floor inserts and keypad.

Probably no squatch but am curious if 2.7 will be a $300 option.

Before, I'd been waffling hardcore between a similarly built Big Bend and Wildtrak, with the occasional thoughts of a Badlands.

Much to my surprise, I finally settled on a build that I'm really happy with:

4 door Outer Banks
Area 51
Sasquatch
V6/Auto
High Package
Aux Switches
MiC Hard Top
Headliner
Floor Liners
...and that sweet Big Bend style Grille, that the Wildtrak no longer has. *laughs*

Down to two:
The more likely
2 dr Oxford white Base Sasquatch , 2.7, steel bumper, roof rails, aux switches, pod lights (gratuitous but the aux switches need to have some function on day one) maybe rock rails.

2nd option 2dr black diamond sasquatch, 2.7, roof rails. Race red or cactus

Problem is the bd option is $4-5k diff to get a color I really like and vinyl seats . Seems steep. Too steep

Same here, started with a two door Badlands manual, and ended up with a velocity blue two door base with the same set up. Ill add leather slip ons for $800 when I get it and be just as happy.

I reserved an OBX but have decided to swap to a BL. My current build is a Badlands in Area 51 with the following upgrades/add-ons:
  • 17" Black High Gloss-Painted Aluminum Wheels
  • Top – Hard Top, Molded-in-Color (MIC)
  • Hard Top Sound Deadening Headliner (if actually allowed)
  • Roof Rails with Crossbars – Black (if actually allowed)
  • Keyless Entry Keypad
  • Floor Liners – Front and Rear
  • Storage Bag – Front Row Top Panels and Door (for On-Vehicle Storage)
  • 2.7L EcoBoost® Engine
  • 10-Speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission
  • LUX Package
  • Towing Capability
  • Tube Door Accessory Kit – Four-Door
  • Top, Soft Mesh (Bimini) - Throw-In, Four-Door
  • 12" Hitch Extension for Racks

Down to two.

Badlands 2.7 w/tow and High Package

Base 2.7 Squatched w/ Aux switches.

Both 2 dr.

Oxford White, or Velocity Blue if base. Add A51 and Race Red to the mix if Badlands.

Heavily leaning towards Badlands.
