Would you accept a newly designed modular top if the windows were not removable?

I would say no. In fact I'd want exactly the opposite. I'd take a MIC roof if it had the removable windows and the gunner hatch.

I thought it was but apparently was mistaken. But I ask why a Ford couldn’t design it to be metal and produce it themselves?

A modular top to me is one that allows you to remove one or more panels. Being able to remove the roof panels makes it “ modular” originally the Bronco modular top was going to also have removable windows ( and still will if the current design e er gets built.

To you maybe, but the standard top has removable panels, the modular has removable windows to the ones who go by what Ford has described them, no need to confuse things!
