Hell yeah. I would say depending on what's defective but then again I have MGV and washout floors so that doesn't matter either.

It’ll never happen, but if Ford offered a defective MIC as a temporary option until they could get you a replacement, would you take it in order to get your Bronco sooner?
There’s all sorts of liabilities that would come with that. Even if for some reason it was an option, I’d say no.

Better chance to get a stick-on cup holder…

Not sure they would be allowed to even do that due to federal safety laws. Of course it depends on what is defective about the top.
Very true. I’m talking more cosmetic defects.

It would never happen but I would only if they told me what the cost of a MOD top would be later

heck that’s pretty much the exact boat I’m in already 🤣

No way they will do that. While they are encouraging 4 doors to switch to soft top, they have been clear that the hard top will cost more afterwards than if you wait to get it from the factory.

Looking at the hysteria right now (me included), I would say that is fords plan already as we speak..
I agree with you. I think they will send them out and agree to replace if/when customers complain about defects. They won't just keep sending out 4dr soft tops. They quality control them but the guy posting a video of his new 4 door with MIC issues stated there were enough issues that Ford will be replacing the top. Not sure how that gets past QC other than "it's better than most I have seen"

nope. I can wait an extra few months, just get it right.
