Would you be interested if Ford offered an option to watch your Bronco be built?

I have always loved watching videos of vehicles being built at the plant. Would other people want this option? If yes, what would you be willing to pay?

that would be cool. I remember at one point they had that option for Corvette's where you could be there and watch your order being built. Not sure if that is still true though.

This topic again? No, I’ll just watch a generic video and swear it’s mine.

If they had an automated system that provided a link to a stream of your Bronco being built in certain stages, that would be pretty cool. It would be fun to check up on it every once in a while. Some people might never stop watching though. 😂

Be careful what you ask for. How upset would you be if you watched a airmotor put a dent abs scratch on your brand new bronco? Or seeing a windshield pulled for a water leak? Perhaps a transmission blows up at the end of the chassis line. Sometimes it’s better to see the finished omelette and not see any eggs broken.

Who wouldn't love it, but I guarantee it will never happen.

It would open up Ford to liability. If anything was to ever go wrong with your vehicle in the future, you could go back over the tape to see if it was caused by anything done incorrectly during installation.

I agree, I know for a fact manufacturing companies do not like showing how the sausage is made. Opens them up to too many lawsuits. All those videos from the assembly line are carefully edited to let you see just enough to peak your interest.

I thought it would be cool if they would let someone watch their rig roll off the line. I'd watch that shiz all day long.

doubt that will ever happen, privacy issues for the workers, and somebody would have to edit it down somehow, footage from multiple cameras etc.

But I'd be happy just to see one being built in a nice video with explanations of what's going on at each stage, produced and released by Ford. Mine won't be much different. Seeing the process from beginning to end would be interesting for sure, from sheet metal to shiny new Bronco rolling off the line.
