Waiting for my May Ford delivery ETA email. My mom always said it’s good to keep your options open and always have a backup plan. I might consider the Timberline if my order gets pushed out to far in ‘22. Anyone else think this Explorer is a great consideration? It looks fantastic, looks capable (obviously not a rock crawler) or Baja Champion but it drives unbelievable well, tows +5,000 lbs (great camper) is available this summer and could be a good competitor to the Defender. I would love to have someone put this up against the Defender in real off road comparison.

I like it, other than having a 4cyl vs 6cyl.

also the interior green looks suspect

Already have a 2020 Explorer. As great as it is, I don't want two of them.

Stationary roof and doors, nope.

Whole reason I want the Bronco is to be my year round convertible Mustang. The 35s and lockers are just an added bonus.

Nah. The next gen Ranger has me curious if they offer it with the 2.7 and a Squatch-like off-road package. But that would also be coming out of MAP so...

Not sure if it needed more lift… or different styling, but I’m underwhelmed with what Ford did here.

The new Z71 Off-road Tahoe seems to have accomplished this much better… from an aesthetic perspective at least.

It looks really good. I'd consider it.

I do like the option, and in years past a used one would have been an consideration. I DO like the higher tow capacity at 5,300 a bunch.

I however, am choosing a roof off, door off Bronco and selling my camper and going back to a tent.
