Curious if anyone was expecting a power rear window that rolls down into the door vs the flip up? I kinda thought Bronco was gonna do it different from Wrangler. Maybe a cost thing?

I'm surprised this isn't a poll.
Surely we have complained about this before, right?

Exactly!!!Being a Wagoneer project owner, currently with an inoperative rear roll down window, I say no. Flip up is a simple, low maintenance feature. It will be good for a very long time with an occasional and simple gas strut replacement.
I had one of these in the late 60's. It went down by a knob on the dash or by the key in the lock. never had a problem with it. Same setup in my Waggy. But everything works fine until it doesn't. Window fails up, can't open the gate, fails down, no security or protection from elements. Flip up is obviously a K.I.S.S. design.I had one of these in the late 60's. It went down by a knob on the dash or by the key in the lock. never had a problem with it.
