only reason would really be for the sound- i have never found a 6 or a 4 that i thought sounded anywhere nearly as good as an 8 but when i think about how much more $$ they would likely charge for one it's not worth it to me

I feel like there's not much a V8 could help the Bronco do that the V6 can't. The sound of a proper V8 is always nice, but I'm already excited about my ~17 MPG.

My uncle ordered the Jeep 392, and its going to get 12 mpg. That sucks, literally. I am just not up for that anymore. I don't want a hybrid but the 17 mpg the Bronco gets with 35s is properly decent. Even Dodge is getting out of the V8 business. I just don't think it has a life left.....just like diesel engines. A big part of this country is bent on crushing fossil fuels no matter the consequences.

No. I don't need a v8. And I don't want the awful mpg that comes with it. Give me a 4.0L NA V6 and I'll be happy. I'd rather have something with no turbos. Two less things that will need replacing in the future along with dealing with oil leaks and less oil lines
