The local Ford dealership (Westway Ford) has all of their Broncos with +$25k markup... Even a base, so $34,000 + $25,000 = $59,000 for a BASE with no add ons. All of the Mach-Es and Raptors were +$25k, and they had one Lightning @ +$35,000...

That dealership sucked, it was my first time and I'll never go again. I booked a 12:00 oil change and they said I'd be done within the hour. Showed up at 11:55. Ended up taking 2.5 hours because they let ALL of their techs leave for lunch at 12:00. They also put my next oil change sticker at 9,000 miles, what??

They've called, emailed, and text me every day since then asking me to leave a 5 star review.

The Ridge Grapplers are a nice touch!
This is an example of why dealerships have such a bad reputation.

Carmax is getting $47k for used 2021/2022 4 door bases and they are selling every couple days.

The dealer put what looks like $3500 into a lift kit and wheels/tires.

I'm guessing they will sell it within a couple thousand of the ask.

The best thing about a free market is they can ask anything they want for a product. The other part of that as a consumer we can either open our wallet or laugh our ass off and walk away.
Not much of a free market if when consumers can't order direct from the factory and cut out the scummy dealers. One can dream though.
