ADM's are common in the luxury market, and even more common now in normal markets. People complaining about them on Broncos don't seem to understand supply and demand very well

Those are all very unique models. Problem for regular folk is that the mark-ups are flowing down to more standard models with appearance packages etc, as dealers find any reason to mark up. so if you dont want vanilla, it'll cost you. Tried very hard to get a GLE350 with the black AMG Sport package, and everyone wanted at a min $5k over, some at $10k. It was a 4 banger with some exterior bits. Landed at an XC90 R-Design below sticker halfway across the country. Another negative that not a lot of people are talking about it the lease deals are HORRENDOUS across the board. Monthly pmts are up 25%+. Was quoted $900-1000/mo on numerous low-mid $60k SUVs that were $700/mo or less pre-COVID (same terms, $0 down, plus tax). Ended up buying because I dont think good leases will come back for years.

I spoke to a salesman at a local Kia dealership this summer and he said that the Telluride’s were all marked up between $5k and $10k depending on the trim level and they were selling them before they even hit the lot.

The Ford dealership near my house has all Bronco Sports marked up $3k.

In 2019 when we were about to launch the Telluride I’d have never guessed there would be a time when they sold over MSRP, but here we are… weird times we are living in.

I got lucky when I bought a 2021 Mercedes AMG wagon last summer from Walnut Creek for only $5K ADM. They usually go for $20-50 ADM now since no 2022 model is being made, that’s if you can actually find one.

We were out looking for a new car for the wife yesterday. Saw a Telluride in Wolf Gray marked up to 66K. They wanted 61K for a 2021 with 19K miles. Made the 4-5K ADM we saw on Pallisades look reasonable.
