Will you wrap mine in gloss black? 😃😃👍
If I can do it, you can too! This was my first time wrapping. Just take your time and have patience

Looks awesome, I've been following your YouTube since it's Budget Bronco beginning.

Love that Jay Leno Bronco that you are replicating, I love the vision.

Keep it up.

Nice work! I'm inspired and will do this in a slightly off white shade whenever my truck arrives!

What surface prep was required? Just an isopropyl wipedown?

May I suggest a roughly 2 inch wide white stripe along the bottom edge of the rear glass, and paint the perimeter of the grill body color.

Cool project! Maybe you could tuck some small diameter rubber hose into the gap around the glass to hide the bunched up vinyl there?

@Timinpgh good work!
Always cheering on those like you who have the guts to get out there and try stuff outside your comfort zone.
Definite satisfaction in the DIY aspect, even if the end results aren’t 100% perfect or pro level.
you did well, and it looks good.

Yup just a good wipe down with a microfiber rag and alcohol. You want to make sure their is no wax or any residue on there. Those are both good ideas, I have definitely considered a little less white on the grill. The only thing I am worried about is the metallic on the AMB will be very hard to perfectly match.

Yes, I have received the letter from Ford that says I can take it in for a replacement top any time before September 2022.

Nice job! I am definitely interested in wrapping my MIC in a matte, black. I wondering how much it would cost for a pro to install.

Figure $200 for the material, and I think a pro could do it in 5 hours of labor, so I think it would be $700 or so? (that is for 2 door) I think the bigger question is will they do it. They might not want to touch a textured surface, because they can't be confident the wrap will stick well long term.
